I hiked in the dark that morning to reach this arch, a spot I had found the evening before, and settled in to wait. Long before the sun appeared, a soft violet glow spread across the sky and slowly revealed the scene in front of me: the graceful curve of weathered granite, and through it, the distant peaks of the Sierra Nevada.

Earth's Embrace holds that quiet, patient hour before sunrise, when the land seems to gather itself and gently wrap around what matters. The arch cradles the mountain the way a moment of stillness can cradle the mind, offering a sense of shelter, steadiness, and calm in a world that rarely pauses.

All sizes refer to the image itself. Foam-mounted prints and canvas match the image size exactly. Framed pieces are larger because of the mat and frame, so use the finished sizes below when planning your wall space.

  • Paper, no frame: exact image size.
  • Canvas, no frame: exact image size, 1.25″ deep.
  • Canvas with black, white, or maple floating frame: about ½″ larger than the image on each side, 1.5″ deep.

Framed prints (black, white, or maple), finished outside dimensions:

  • 10×14 image: 14″ × 18″
  • 15×21 image: 20.25″ × 26.25″
  • 20×28 image: 25.25″ × 33.25″

Every Natural Phocus piece is printed to order using color-calibrated giclée printers and archival pigment inks, chosen for rich detail and long-lasting color.

Paper prints are made on Somerset Velvet, an acid-free cotton fine art paper with a soft, matte surface that renders fine detail beautifully. Unframed paper prints are mounted on lightweight foam board, so they arrive flat, rigid, and ready to frame or display.

Canvas prints are stretched over 1.25″ deep wood bars with a mirror wrap, which reflects the edges of the photograph around the sides so none of the image is lost. Each arrives with a sawtooth hanger, ready to hang.

All frames are available in black, white, or maple, and arrive ready to hang with a hanging wire attached.

Framed paper prints are set behind a white mat and protected by clear acrylic, which is lighter and more shatter-resistant than glass. A kraft paper backing finishes the reverse.

Framed canvas sits within a matching floating frame, with a slim gap between the canvas and the frame so the artwork appears to float. It’s finished with a black backboard and arrives with a hanging wire installed.

Black offers a crisp, modern contrast. White feels light and airy in bright or minimal spaces. Maple brings the warmth of natural wood grain.

Each piece is printed to order and typically ships within 3 to 5 business days. Delivery usually takes an additional 2 to 6 business days.

During the holiday season, please allow extra time. We post a recommended order date each November.

If your artwork arrives damaged or with a defect, we’ll replace it at no cost. Just email support@naturalphocus.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the artwork and packaging.

Because each piece is made to order, we’re unable to accept returns for other reasons, such as a change of mind. If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us right away; once production begins, orders can’t be modified.

With a little care, your artwork will stay beautiful for years.

  • Hang away from direct sunlight and areas of high humidity, such as bathrooms.
  • Dust gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth.
  • For acrylic-glazed frames, use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water. Avoid paper towels and ammonia-based cleaners, which can scratch or cloud acrylic.
  • For canvas, dust only. Avoid water or cleaning products on the surface.
